Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport is a joint civil-military airport located just north of Westfield, Massachusetts.. In addition to being a hub for student pilots and corporate / private aviation traffic, the airport is home to the 104th Fighter Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard. The 104th currently operates F-15C/D Eagles. These are being gradually retired and will be fully replaced by the F-35A Lighting II in 2026. The airport is also home to the 226th Aviation Support Battalion of the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

There is a moderate range of aircraft that visit and operate out of KBAF, including various types of Cessna and Piper aircraft, F-15C/Ds, HH-60 and UH-72 helicopters, and various types of Gulfstream aircraft thanks to the Gulfstream Maintenance Facility on the northeast end of the airport. You can also see the occasional charter flight operating for local sports teams or other occasions, which are typically under airlines like Breeze and Allegiant.
